I have wanted a way to organize and share my thoughts on all of the different types of books I read or have read. My current collection is now overgrowing my bookshelves, and the floors, desk, countertops, and any other space is becoming a make-shift shelf. My hope is that by sharing what I’m reading, and sharing about what I have read, others will be able to get ideas about what to read next. Sometimes it is hard to find a good author in a genre you like when only the major names pop up (i.e Laurell K. Hamilton, James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark, Kelly Armstrong). I have found quite a few new authors over the last year, which have pleasantly surprised me.

I’ve been reading as long as I can remember. My favorite photo is one of me in daycare, reading a book, with a pile of books next to me. Since then, things may have gotten out of hand. My first series was Nancy Drew Files, which, to this day, I still own. I moved on to Mary Higgins Clark, Lydia Adamson, Diana Mott Davidson, Rita Mae Brown, and Jack Higgins. Now, this list is incredible, and I couldn’t even begin to list all of the authors I read.

Hopefully, I will be able to have a complete list of my current collection up soon and I will start categorizing them as soon as possible. I’m a RN and part-time student working on my Master’s degree, time is tight with me, but reading is what I do best.
